Scribbles: A Conversation and a Tiger

Sometimes I scribble. Some of these scribbles start to live a life of their own. Some of these living scribbles turn into (very) short stories. Some of these stories do not get deleted.

And now, one of them has found a new home.

Today, I present to you: The Conversation, at Fiction365. A short story about two mysterious characters that meet in a strange place to have the fate of something or someone decided by odd artifacts…

On a related note, recently I was alerted that another one of my scribbles is a finalist in the WOLFoundation’s 2011 essay contest and, as such, will be published in the essay collection following the contest (no date yet). The story is called ‘How To Build A Tiger’ and takes place a century from now, when several iconic species have gone extinct. Their DNA was preserved, however, and slowly but surely, it seems to become possible to ‘rebuild’ them…

Despite uncertainty about how this short story writing thing will develop (these are my first careful steps), a new tab ‘Fiction’ has been added to the menu above.

As always, feel free to let me know what you think…

Beast, Bard and Bot out.
